MiDAESS is the acronym for Missile Defense Agency Engineering and Support Services. It is a new set of contracts to provide support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA).

These new contracts will consolidate, and ultimately replace, efforts currently provided by over 250 separate support contracts into a smaller number of new, multiple-award contracts.

These new contracts are anticipated to be awarded over a phased period of time, potentially beginning in early December 2009. Following award of the new contracts, the actual work will then be competed via task orders. Continue Reading ...
